MEİS CHARGE TEKNOLOJLARI A.S. (MEİS CHARGE) (“We“, “Company” or “MEİS“) serves as the data controller responsible for processing your data. Your personal data is processed with care and discretion, strictly adhering to our policies and compliance requirements.
In line with this Privacy Policy, our Company aims to provide transparency by informing you in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law“). As a user (“User” or “Data Owner“) of the MEIS mobile application (“Meis Application”) or as a guest customer benefiting from our services, your personal data is processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

PURPOSE, LEGAL REASON AND STORAGE PERIOD OF PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data (“Personal Data(s)“), in accordance with the basic principles of the Law and as explained in detail below, are obtained during your use of the Meis application as a member or guest, during your visit to our website or if you contact us via our call center or other channels regarding the products and services offered by our Company.
In some cases, obtaining your personal data for the purposes described in this section is based on a contractual relationship or in some cases – use for invoices, etc. – on legal obligation. Failure to obtain your Personal Data for these purposes may make it impossible for our company to provide you with membership to the Electrip Application or to provide you with pricing services as a guest customer.

Within the scope of the Law, in order to process personal data for some purposes, the explicit consent of the data subject must be obtained. Our Company, acting in line with the personal data processing conditions in the Law, may process your Identity Information (Name, Surname), Contact Information (Mobile Phone Number, E- mail); User Information (User ID Number, Vehicle Information, Station Information where the User Receives Service, Service Received Time, Consumption Amount, Service Received Date Information, Service Receipt Information, Service Fee Information and Marketing Information (Shopping history information, Segment Information) for the following purposes:
– Customizing our services according to your tastes, usage habits and needs and recommending them to you; conducting analysis, segmentation or targeting studies; presenting special product or service offers, new product announcements, campaigns, promotions and conducting other marketing activities; conducting surveys and customer satisfaction measurement studies and communicating with you electronically in this context and sharing them with our third party suppliers that we receive services from abroad for these purposes.
Location Data Processing
If you consent to the processing of your location data via MEİS Mobile application, your instant location information is processed so that you can see the nearest electric vehicle charging station on the map to be opened. Your location information is not recorded and tracked in any system. It is instantly displayed only according to your current location.
You have the opportunity to remove the MEİS Mobile application’s access to your location services at any time you wish. The relevant process can be performed from the section regarding access to location services in the application settings of your phone.
Mobile Application Notifications
If you consent to notifications via MEİS Mobile application, you will start to receive notifications on your device where MEİS Mobile application is installed in order to receive notifications about charging transactions, account status, payment status of transactions, developments about MEİS station network and current campaigns. You have the opportunity to turn off receiving notifications at any time you wish. The relevant process can be performed from the section related to notifications in the application settings of your phone.
METHOD AND LEGAL REASON FOR COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data may be obtained through MEİS Mobile Application, our website, Call Center, WhatsApp, ChatBot, E-mail and Social Media in line with the legal reasons stated above within the scope of fulfilling the purposes stated under the first title of this Clarification Text.
